Every certificate has a date. Work backwards from it.

Most people who come to us are not trying to learn a language. They are trying to pass a specific examination by a specific month, usually because a visa, a posting or an admission depends on it.

A note on the timetables above

These are planning figures for a motivated adult attending class consistently and doing the work between sessions. They are not marketing numbers, and they are deliberately less flattering than what you will read elsewhere.

If a provider tells you German B1 in twelve weeks from nothing, they are quoting one level and letting you assume it covers three. Budget for the ladder.
